Cyclope Series

Cyclope anti-ram vehicle blockers are a TiSO series of sectional blockers for high-threat sites. Each section raises a blocking platform, and the number of sections in a line is calculated for the driveway width. M30–M50 units are shallow-mounted, and the whole series replaces bollards where a deep installation is not possible.

How to choose Cyclope anti-ram blockers

• Security rating. M30 and M50 are designed to the ASTM F2656 M30 and M50 ratings; M40 was tested to ASTM F2656 and IWA 14-1:2013. Choose the rating by threat scenario.
• Barrier height. From 600 mm on City-Light to 1100 mm on M50.
• Line width. An M30–M50 section is 500 mm wide; City-Light blocks 270 mm.
• Power. The M series uses an external control box with the HPU and PLC, 3-phase 400 V. City-Light has a built-in hydraulic unit, single-phase 230 V.
• Climate. The M series operates from −30 to +50 °C, with heating below −10 °C. City-Light works from −10 to +40 °C, or from −40 °C with optional heating. Blocker rating IP 67.
• Load. All models carry a 15 t axle load.

• M30 High Security Cyclope (RB320-01): designed to ASTM F2656 M30; 800 mm platform; rising 5.5 s, lowering 3.3 s.
• M40 High Security Cyclope (RB320-02): tested to ASTM F2656 and IWA 14-1:2013; 900 mm; 5.6 / 3.4 s.
• M50 High Security Cyclope (RB320-03): designed to ASTM F2656 M50; 1100 mm; 6.0 / 3.6 s.
• City-Light Cyclope (RB319-01): 600 mm (± 20 mm); 3.5 / 2 s (± 1 s); medium use intensity.

The M series goes where heavy-vehicle attacks are a risk: stadiums, exhibition grounds, government buildings, military and infrastructure sites. Thanks to its compact size, City-Light suits pedestrian zones and city squares.

By purpose: a Cyclope stops a vehicle rather than regulating traffic, which defines the structure's mass and foundation requirements.

Can a Cyclope be controlled from a guard post?

Yes. Control integrates with the site's access control system, and City-Light is operated remotely from the guard post.
