A full-height turnstile blocks passage with arms mounted on a central axis. Passage is allowed by rotating the rotor to a fixed angle, so two people cannot pass with a single identifier. This is a simple and durable solution for places that require reliable access control and minimal maintenance.
Such turnstiles are installed at enterprise checkpoints, in entrance areas, and at security checkpoints, as well as in recreation areas and amusement parks. Models designed for outdoor use operate year-round without seasonal restrictions.
What to look for when choosing:
- material — an all-metal version is suitable for facilities where glass elements are undesirable; for outdoor installation, use galvanized metal or AISI 316 stainless steel
- arm design — metal or glass, depending on the interior and wear resistance requirements
- installation location — indoors or outdoors; this determines the housing material and mechanism protection
- evacuation — the full-height turnstile design does not allow opening the passage area, so a Gate series wicket is installed nearby to open evacuation routes in emergencies
This section includes STAR series models in metal and glass versions, and the outdoor CYCLONE-L model.
The turnstiles operate as part of any access control system; reader mounting points are provided in the design. Dimensions, materials, and operating conditions are listed in the specifications of each model.
