SpeedBlade solves a problem that designers of representative lobbies constantly face: how to place a technically reliable barrier at the entrance without ruining the interior's impression. The turnstile's wings retract from the pedestal and are made of safety tempered glass with built-in lighting — so in hotels, banks, or office centers, SpeedBlade reads not as a piece of hardware but as part of the entrance's architectural design.
A mechanism built to run without maintenance.
At its core is the BMDrive® actuator with a powerful BLDC gear motor, capable of running for extended periods with no service intervention. A built-in self-diagnostic system continuously analyzes the mechanism's condition, records critical faults, and keeps a log of errors and warnings — catching a problem before it affects the turnstile's operation.
Protection against tailgating and vandalism alike.
The turnstile's sensors detect an attempt at simultaneous passage by more than one person on a single authorization and prevent it. A separate PinLock® locking system prevents the wings from being fully forced open by hand — so protection covers both procedural passage violations and physical interference with the mechanism.
Configuration with no special equipment required.
The BMDrive® controller features an OLED display, so basic setup and configuration require no separate programming tools. Full diagnostics are also available via USB connection using service software for Windows, when needed.
SpeedBlade 900 — the same turnstile, a wider passage.
The telescopic-wing modification widens the passage to 900mm without doubling the size of the pedestal itself — a solution for accommodating people with special needs or transporting bulky items, without installing a separate, visually bulky turnstile.
Control is via remote or an access control system controller. Manufactured by TiSO.
