The panel rotates rather than swings.
Unlike most wicket gates, passage in both directions here isn't achieved by pushing the panel — it rotates automatically by 90°, driven by the BMDrive® mechanism. In the closed position, the same mechanism locks the panel firmly, so no extra effort is required from the person passing through: once authorized, the system rotates the glass panel on its own.

Glass that scales to your traffic.
The panel is made of tempered glass, and its size can be increased — if the gate will regularly handle trolleys or bulky loads, it's worth specifying this at the ordering stage.

Unlocks automatically without power.
If power is lost, the mechanism doesn't hold the panel locked — it releases automatically (fail-safe), keeping the passage open. This makes Onyx-GS suitable for use as an emergency exit route as well.

Flexibility for any site.
The gate is available with left-hand, right-hand, or bidirectional opening, and the cabinet can be adapted for indoor or outdoor installation. The fast ToothLock® locking system supports two modes — HiSecurity for maximum control and LowNoise for quieter operation — while a dedicated BMDrive® safety function protects the glass from breaking during an attempted act of vandalism.
