What sets Onyx-S apart from the rest of the tripod lineup is its angled glass top cover. That slant gives the turnstile a futuristic look and turns it into an architectural feature in its own right, rather than just a piece of access-control hardware at the checkpoint.
A bidirectional drive built for heavy traffic.
The arms are driven by a fully automatic bidirectional servo mechanism with a sturdy locking system. The hub and arms are made of stainless steel, so the turnstile is built to run without interruption even where hundreds of people pass through every day.
Automatic response to an alarm.
In an emergency, the arms drop automatically, clearing the passage — people don't have to wait for identification to leave the premises. Once the alarm ends, the mechanism returns to working position on its own.
Glass that keeps its look for years.
The cover is made of scratch-resistant black glass — an important detail for a turnstile that's constantly in view of visitors. Two illuminated RFID readers are built in under the glass, so a person intuitively knows where to tap a card without having to read any instructions.
Lighting that indicates direction on its own.
RGB light indication follows the lines of the cabinet and can run in either static or dynamic mode — in the latter, the flashing visually marks the direction a person is moving through the turnstile. The colors are unambiguous: green for allowed, red for blocked, blue for standby.
Thoughtful installation details.
A separate decorative element hides the mounting anchors at the base of the turnstile, so the structure looks finished right from installation.
